Under-heat the PIB or polysulfide and you’re staring down adhesion failure, fogging, and warranty claims. Overheat, and the edge seal delaminates under thermal stress. The line stops, the stack builds, and the oven log shows nothing.

What matters, technically

We built the sealant adhesion IR lamp around NIR emitters with a tight spectral output that matches the adhesive’s absorption band. Quartz envelopes give you rapid response and high power density without leaning on convection.
The result is a focused thermal profile: 600–800 nm peak, 240–480 V supply, and power densities up to 60 W/cm², tuned to the bead width. Integrated reflectors shape a uniform field across the seal, so you don’t get hot spots that warp the glass and stress the edge.
Control is direct—SCR or PID with thermocouple feedback—so the emitter temperature stays stable. The adhesive gets the same energy dose, cycle after cycle.
