Most bathroom heaters are pretty lazy. They just warm up the air and hope for the best. We did things differently. Our IP65 infrared lamps don’t just float heat around the room—they go after the moisture hiding in your walls and tiles. It’s less about “warming the room” and more about actively drying it out.
The science bit (without the headache)
Mold loves those damp, dead corners where the air just sits still. To fight that, we use short-wave infrared. Think of it like this: the energy actually penetrates the surface of your grout and tiles. It gets the water molecules vibrating, which forces the moisture to evaporate way faster than a standard heater ever could. And about thatIP65 rating—that’s a big deal. Steam is brutal on electronics. If your circuitry isn’t sealed tight, the humidity will eat through the terminals and short out the ballast. We seal everything shut so you don’t have to worry about your heater dying the moment you take a hot shower.
Dealing with the heat
The best part? It’s instant. Since the energy travels in a straight line, you don’t have to wait twenty minutes for the room to feel cozy. You feel it immediately. This is great for drying out wet walls fast, which basically shuts the door on mold spores before they can even start moving in. But a heads-up: this stuff is powerful. Because the heat is so concentrated, you can’t just slap these anywhere. If you mount them too low or too close together, you’re asking for trouble (and potentially scorched surfaces). You’ve got to get the height right based on the wattage.
Keeping it running
We hate the idea of you having to rip out a whole fixture just because one part gave up. That’s why we use standard connectors. If an element burns out, you just swap it. Simple. One last tip:Keep the glass clean. If soap scum or dust builds up on the quartz lens, it blocks those specific wavelengths. You’ll still get heat, but you’ll lose that dehumidifying magic. A quick wipe-down keeps everything working exactly how it should.
