See, standard short-wave IR lamps are basically heat-cannons that blast out a ton of visible light and UV. That’s fine for a warehouse, but in a bathroom? It’s a nightmare. It causes retinal strain, and it’s especially risky for babies whose eyes aren’t fully developed yet. Nobody wants a heater that feels like a spotlight in their face. Getting the light right We fix this by tweaking the emission curve. We use specific alloys for the filaments and special quartz coatings to kill off those harsh “white light” peaks. Instead, we push the energy into the medium and long-wave bands. These wavelengths soak into your skin to make you feel warm, but they don’t trigger that blinding response in your eyes. You get all the cozy heat without the glare. Dealing with the steam Bathrooms are honestly a terrible place for electronics. Between the steam, the splashes, and the constant humidity, things corrode fast. That’s why we build these to an IP55 standard.
